Dr. Thomas is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF San Francisco General Hospital and specializes in the assessment and treatment of patients with neurological injuries (traumatic brain injury, stroke, dementia).

Dr. Thomas also specializes in capacity evaluations in helping to determine if an older adult can make medical and legal decisions for themselves and is able to assign Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare decisions or Financial decisions.
